I tried some of these and found them to be good shafts. Can't comment further since I have yet to log in enough playing time with them but initial testing show some promising results and numbers.

They come from the guy that used to head up Matrix... My guess is they're going to be good.

That's what I meant of course. I'm looking to make a change away from Mitsubishi and I was thinking of going UST. Maybe I'll give these a look.

Hoss, what's the characteristics of this 7RA? Would it fit for a 3 wood if I am looking for a high-launch shaft? I still need a super high-launch shaft for my 3 wood... Thanks in advance.

The 7RA has a pretty flat and penetrating ball flight. I would call it mid launch and low spin. Definitely not a super high launch shaft, but not a difficult shaft to hit either. If you wanted a higher trajectory Veylix, Alpina 673 is the best option.

You think 673 (a 60-gram shaft) would work good in a 3 wood? Currently I am hitting 70-ish gram in three wood. No problem with balance and weight just need to get the ball airborne sooner and hold it up there...

I updated the spec sheet above that includes all of the models now. The 673 in Stiff actually comes out to right at 70g which should be ok for most players in the 3 wood.

That Roughneck looks so good to me, must be impressive looking in broad daylight. Is it too low launch for a 14* fairway club?

It is pretty cool looking. Very unique for sure and always catches guys attention when they see it. It can definitely work in a 3 for the right player or in the right head.

The 40T, 60T, 80T, and 90T prepeg material all comes from Japan. The Liquid Crystal that is used in Arcane is made in Japan as well by a different specialty material partner of Veylix. The Annoveylix Carbon nickel coated mesh that is used on the Roughneck 7RA tip section is produced in Korea.

Manufacturing of the shafts is done at a facility in China which I believe is overseen by employees of Solinco who is a partner of Veylix.

Once the shafts are produced, every piece goes though strict quality control procdures in Veylix's California office.

So when it comes to the smoothness of these shafts in the loading of said shaft which one is comparable to the Matrix Code 8? Is there anything similar or we talking two different animals? I love the code8 in my 5 wood and was wondering what I can use to replace or upgrade that shafts as I'm down to my last code8 as my gamer broke. Really need to find a place I can demo some of these Veylix shafts in a driver. All the hype and reviews I've read have definitely peaked my interest! B)

I've read they're located somewhere in Orange County.

Will Veylix ever have a website or will they just be using social media and golf forums like BSG to showcase their shafts?
