@  TWshoot67 : (30 August 2014 - 09:27 PM) Congrats Robo on the site and the shafts. Are you having Veylix design for your shaft co.?
@  ROBOPTI : (30 August 2014 - 10:36 AM) XPHLEXXX.COM IS LIVE !!! ... BSG HYPERLINKS ON PAGE :)
@  BingHogan : (28 August 2014 - 10:20 PM) A zinger is probably right. He's the only one on the GC that knows what he's talking about.
@  TJR : (28 August 2014 - 04:14 PM) Azinger said he could fix Tiger in 10 minutes...
@  youngwaldo : (28 August 2014 - 09:40 AM) Butch is slowing down so taking Tiger will not happen.
@  HossOnMoss : (28 August 2014 - 09:16 AM) I've heard the Grant Waite rumors as well, but that would be so similar to how Foley teaches. That's not to say that Grant couldn't teach him better even with a similar model or style.
@  HossOnMoss : (28 August 2014 - 09:15 AM) Butch already said no and Tiger isn't going to take the left overs. I could see Claude III as an outside possibility otherwise, but I doubt it because of that.
@  BingHogan : (28 August 2014 - 08:57 AM) Gotta be one of the Harmon's. Or all of them. It's not the coach...
@  J13 : (28 August 2014 - 06:04 AM) I'm taking myself out of consideration to be tigers next coach lol
@  ballen : (28 August 2014 - 04:56 AM) I hear Grant Waite will be Tigers next.......
@  BingHogan : (27 August 2014 - 09:38 PM) RIP Tours - unbelievably good!
@  BingHogan : (27 August 2014 - 09:37 PM) Tiger maybe running out of options. Maybe Leadbetter
@  HossOnMoss : (27 August 2014 - 09:28 AM) Tiger holds interviews for the position. Breed walks up and says, "Come on, Tiger! LET'S DO THIS!!!!" Tiger and I are thinking the same thing....BRUTAL. Haha
@  TWshoot67 : (26 August 2014 - 07:54 PM) Heck Tiger doesn't need to be with Michael Breed he's already a weekly discussion about the golf swing even when he's not playing on the Golf Channel....
@  Golferrob22 : (26 August 2014 - 06:36 PM) I'd put some money on Bob May! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
@  TJR : (26 August 2014 - 06:26 PM) How about Michael Breed? Tiger could be featured on a weekly segment of "The Golf Fix"
@  HossOnMoss : (26 August 2014 - 12:04 PM) I figured it was coming. Who's up next for the position? My money is on Chuck Cook.
@  BingHogan : (25 August 2014 - 02:21 PM) Still would like Tiger to get to at LEAST 18 Majors! That will tick off Chamblee.
@  TWshoot67 : (25 August 2014 - 01:55 PM) Tiger and Foley are done. The split has been announced by both sides1
@  lamont6266 : (23 August 2014 - 07:33 PM) Loved the pix and links to the new Bridgestone J15 line up that were posted!

@  MWP : (08 August 2014 - 09:42 PM) @TW Since Fowler put work into his swing with Butch and cut his hair my opinion on him has completely changed, I'd like to see him squeak this one out.
@  TWshoot67 : (08 August 2014 - 08:08 PM) Although Steve Striker winning would be pretty cool too...
@  TWshoot67 : (08 August 2014 - 08:07 PM) Is anyone else pulling for Rickie Fowler this weekend?
@  KyCutter : (08 August 2014 - 05:13 PM) He should be smarter than that TW. That's my point. If he's hurt. Quit
@  TWshoot67 : (08 August 2014 - 04:11 PM) he's probably going to gut it out hurt himself some more just so he don't have to listen to media and naysayers who say he's faking his injuries
@  TWshoot67 : (08 August 2014 - 04:10 PM) he's already posted an 81 @ The Open few years back.
@  KyCutter : (08 August 2014 - 02:38 PM) Pushed putt. Pulled back. Time to WD. No way will he post 80
@  rfdegen : (08 August 2014 - 10:17 AM) Not contrary, from someone with a bad back, just amazed he's playing this week. Un-freakin-believable.
@  TWshoot67 : (07 August 2014 - 01:08 PM) It's all what have you done lately in todays world. Sorry I just don't give up on Tiger so easy. I'm a fanboy! lol
@  TWshoot67 : (07 August 2014 - 01:07 PM) I love how people are so contrary, less then 10 months ago Tiger had 5 wins and was #1 WGR. Now it's like he should just toss it in an quit his career is over, LOL
@  Qwagmire : (07 August 2014 - 10:47 AM) any guesses when the spasms happen? I got front nine Friday
@  KyCutter : (07 August 2014 - 08:27 AM) I suspect the "spasms" are creeping back into the picture.
@  HossOnMoss : (06 August 2014 - 07:39 PM) He did say it was spasms...real or not. Anyone that didn't think he would tee it up this week is nuts. There's no way he was missing the PGA once he made his statement sunday.
@  KyCutter : (06 August 2014 - 04:06 PM) Tired indeed ROBO…miraculous recovery tho'
@  ROBOPTI : (06 August 2014 - 02:43 PM) Really ??? ... Just a tired show

@  TWshoot67 : (01 August 2014 - 12:31 PM) In the for sale sectionhttp://bombsquadgolf.com/Invision/index.php?/forum/13-for-sale-or-trade/ ; or if your trying to buy from BSG: http://bombsquadgolf...ve-merchandise/
@  andy1818 : (01 August 2014 - 12:27 PM) Clubs used to be for sale on here. Where is that at?
@  TWshoot67 : (01 August 2014 - 12:27 PM) Well don't know about Hummingbirds speaking English, but all I was trying to infer was that everytime the media and others toss Tiger aside he does something no one else does in golf. It's amazing how everyone already forgot the guy won 5 times last year. He's been injured all year. I could care less if he plays the Ryder Cup
@  BingHogan : (01 August 2014 - 12:05 PM) Read where some MIT grad had the idea of a 3ft cup. Yeah, that should really work. :lol2:
@  BingHogan : (01 August 2014 - 12:01 PM) So, when Tiger wins the 15th, that should bring golf back from the doldrums!
@  ROBOPTI : (01 August 2014 - 10:05 AM) ... and if humingbirds start speaking English .... yada yada yada ... That is EXACTLY what I saying. It's time to treat Tiger like everyone else .. He has earned that. That "aura" .. that "mystique" INSIDE the ropes - not outside - IS OVER. I think that's why this topic gets so heated. WE - the peeps are still drinking the Koolaide - and that's cool ... TRUST ME!!!! .. Inside the ropes ... They quit drinking that a longtime ago. Do we want to win - or have another episode of "X Factor" - cuz he doesn't concern Europe - AT ALL
@  TWshoot67 : (01 August 2014 - 09:44 AM) So for arguements sake Tiger finds his game wins 2 of last 3 events you still say he don't deserve to play on RC, don't count Tiger out yet!
@  ROBOPTI : (01 August 2014 - 07:43 AM) Too bad he probably will ... even though he doesn't deserve it ... glass half full though - be fun to watch
@  BingHogan : (31 July 2014 - 11:36 PM) T. Watson, best be pickin Tiger for the Ryder or nobody's watching...
@  BingHogan : (31 July 2014 - 11:34 PM) Bettinardi Wedges!? What's next, Bettinardi irons!? Let's hope so!!!
@  TWshoot67 : (31 July 2014 - 05:46 PM) ROBO I like this idea below, only problem for ho's is they will use them all...lol
@  ROBOPTI : (31 July 2014 - 10:44 AM) I am also going to talk to our web-guru to get icons made for all other OEM so every member can display their favorite brand ;)

Stenson has given Piretti some tremendous exposure lately.

They're a Houston, Texas area company, but I've never tried one.

They feature 2.5* loft and 365 or 375gram heads.

Piretti made 150 copies of the Stenson Cottonwood putter version (slightly less toe hang, longer neck) and they sold out at $650 bucks a pop! They had a bunch of them when I called and with his recent success, sold all of them fast!

I putted with one at an AM tour event two weekends ago. I also putted with a SeeMore and a Bettinardi Studio. I am in the market for a new, good putter and liked the Piretti Cottonwood II, and the SeeMore the best. The Seemore M5 had a Super Stroke slim 2.0 on it and felt unbelievable. I don't like the look too much, but man I was rolling in ten footer with it like crazy. I only had ten minutes or so. The owner was warming up on the range so I checked them out then.

Going to order one tomorrow. Seemore Z3c or a Cottonwood II. My Taylor Spider is headed to the retirement bag!

Only 2.5* of loft on these putters, but I suspect the heavier head weight producing higher effective loft at impacxt.

Same with SeeMore Putters - 2.5! The Piretti I tested was stunning in appearance. Hard to get nuts over missing a short one looking at that thing.

You can find the Cottonwood for a lot less then 650.00 right here. http://www.fairwaygo...CFYii4AodlHcACQ and that was a real quick search, so I'm sure they are available, maybe not the limited Stenson model but a Cottonwood2.

I spoke to the Piretti owner, Mike Johnson, about his putters and possible customization.

He was very helpful, if a little busy, following Stenson's win.

He seems to have a stock of the various models, and volunteered to select a putter from stock with a little extra loft and offset for me.

I ordered a 365gram Fonza mallet model as a gift for a family member.

Was it the Forza mallet?

http://www.pirettigo...midnight-black/

Would that family member know if you putt with it a few times and give us some feedback?

Here's what I just ordered.

http://www.seemore.c...oke-diamond-cs/

Pseudo mallet looking job. I like the straight shaft. Mucho coin however. If it makes a few putts, I'll be set!

Sure enough, the Forza.

The putter is going to a pro and I'll have feedback to post.

The putter hasn't yet arrived.

The Piretti Fonza, while a nicely constructed and balanced putter, has a hard feel at impact with PRO V1X golf balls, compared to putters with inserts - like the Odyssey White Ice #9, for instance.

This example has 1/2 shaft offset and weighs 365 grams.

If you like that firm feel, its a good choice.

Good feedback! I received my SeeMore and it has the hard feel to it also. I'm on the fence again about using it. I've been using insert putters for too long and have grown use to the feel and feedback. I'm testing a Cameron Mallet now. Good grief!

"The top selling beer in America is Bud Light, followed by Budweiser, Miller Light, Coors Light, Natural Light. We are officially feminized."---Joe Soucheray 2/17/12

This discussion is a perfect illustration of what I constantly tell my wife - you can never have enough golf clubs, guns, cameras, or lenses! When ever I tell her that, she quickly adds diamonds to the list!

I just recently received my Piretti putter. I can't speak highly enough about it. I've been in the business of collecting Cameron's for the last few years, but I've been looking for something of equal quality that I can get a little bit more of a personal touch with. Piretti has filled that void. I've spoken with Mike directly and he has been a pleasure to deal with. One thing that I have seemed to notice with it is that the flex of the shaft, yes I know it is a putter, feels very loose. I personally think that it gives it a great feel at impact. It puts a tremendous roll on the ball. I noticed the post about there only being 2.5* of loft, I think that is a factor of using a more flexible shaft and the heavy weight as already said above.
