@  HossOnMoss : (18 February 2015 - 11:08 PM) Just curious.....but does ANYONE ever read an item description on ebay before asking a question that is clearly answered by doing so? I love helping customers and working with them, but there really is a such thing as a stupid question. Phew...just had to get that off my chest. Rant over. :D
@  gtjr1975 : (18 February 2015 - 03:56 PM) Hey anyone know what shaft has a creme and gray color weave at tip I have pics posted in forums.
@  Shambles : (17 February 2015 - 05:47 PM) I have a set shafted to those 200's. Way soft and kind of fun.
@  BingHogan : (15 February 2015 - 07:01 PM) Thanks Hoss! I put them away until I got a little older... Probably waited too long!
@  HossOnMoss : (15 February 2015 - 05:10 PM) Bing, those are Dynamic Gold S200 .355 taper iron shafts.
@  BingHogan : (15 February 2015 - 04:07 PM) Anyone have an idea what shafts these are: DGISL200? Just found these in the garage and remember buying them about 10+ years ago. Thanks!
@  Laars : (04 February 2015 - 10:09 AM) Carroll was tricked into doing what he did. Pats don't call a time out, putting it all on Hawks either scoring or losing. Now you have no time, only 30 seconds. If Carroll does a running play first, and doesn't get in, he then MUST throw twice in order to win because he has no time left. Giving the advantage to NE. Go with the pass play first, then run twice. He picked the smarter plays, but in reality, he should give Lynch a shot, and if he doesn't get in, you lose. He looked at having 3 chances better then one. Belichick counted on Carroll doing that, going with 3 chances instead of one chance with Lynch, which on paper, 3 chances looks like the smart play. Carroll got out coached.
@  TWshoot67 : (03 February 2015 - 05:55 PM) J13 I feel pretty much the same. even two days later and I can't figure out why passing even entered anyones mind after the result of the previous play running the ball???????? :spank: :WTF: :nono:
@  J13 : (02 February 2015 - 07:57 PM) Carrolls call at the end makes me want to stick a nail gun against my temple and unload a clip. What a moron
@  Qwagmire : (02 February 2015 - 04:01 PM) Pats-Hawks, Texas-USC, more NCAA violations than any coach in history? Carroll has reaped what he sowed
@  HossOnMoss : (02 February 2015 - 09:51 AM) That was pretty hard to watch. Not a fan for either team, but it's painful to think that Carroll will be living with that choice for the rest of his life.
@  TWshoot67 : (01 February 2015 - 09:44 PM) now the biggest cheating nfl coach will go down in history as the best post seaon coach ever,,, blahh
@  TWshoot67 : (01 February 2015 - 09:42 PM) 2nd and goal from 1 and pass the ball w/ 30 seconds left??????
@  TWshoot67 : (01 February 2015 - 09:40 PM) dumb@$$ call i have ever seen in super bowl history

@  petter7 : (14 January 2015 - 01:40 AM) This one feels better than my freshman year when the Buckeyes slaughtered Michigan and then kicked OJ's butt in the Rose Bowl…and I was at both those games.
@  HossOnMoss : (13 January 2015 - 11:12 AM) @pingbear: I am not 100% sure on this so don't hold me to it, but I believe that they are made by Aldila. I could very well be wrong, but that's what I have been told.
@  HossOnMoss : (13 January 2015 - 11:10 AM) @petter7: Hard to imagine that Ohio State didn't even belong in the playoffs according to many, huh? Nothing against any other teams since I had not dog in this fight, but I wasn't disappointed to see OSU win it.

@  HossOnMoss : (30 December 2014 - 06:13 PM) J, that makes it your career low AND lower this year right? 67 and now 65! Shaving the strokes off fast my man!

@  biu997 : (24 November 2014 - 10:25 PM) nippon modus
@  HossOnMoss : (24 November 2014 - 01:37 PM) @TWshoot67: Hard to say what the outcome and results will be, but hiring Como is a good move. He is one of these guys that is really on the cutting edge of the science of the golf swing which will blend well with what Tiger was doing under Foley. Como without a doubt though will have to make some changes, but at least it's not a total "start over" process and he knows what he's doing. Looks like Tiger is going to take more control over what he does with his game rather than following a teacher's instruction to the letter.
@  HossOnMoss : (24 November 2014 - 01:35 PM) @BingHogan: That would be a good test. Without a real formal apples to apples test, my impressions are that KBS Tour V actually shares a mix of characteristics from Modus 120 and 130.
@  TWshoot67 : (23 November 2014 - 01:11 PM) So what's everyones take on Tiger's new swing coach, Chris Como. Thoughts?
@  BingHogan : (21 November 2014 - 01:47 PM) Hey Hoss, any thoughts on doing a comparison of the Nippon 120's vs the KBS Tour V Tour?
@  HossOnMoss : (20 November 2014 - 10:48 AM) What do you guys think about Golf Digest's / Dan Jenkins' recent "interview" with Tiger? http://bombsquadgolf...iew-with-tiger/
@  ROBOPTI : (14 November 2014 - 10:14 AM) Bing - Birds of a feather - Those are the same 2 I am beating on lately (BC+ / 30)

@  HossOnMoss : (11 November 2014 - 07:43 PM) And by the way guys, the new Big Bertha Alpha 815 and DBD heads exceeded my expectations today in my initial testing. Really good stuff from Rutherford Road in these new heads! :smilie_cally:
@  HossOnMoss : (11 November 2014 - 07:39 PM) @rfdegen: If it makes you feel any better, I don't take it for granted. :D

@  HossOnMoss : (20 October 2014 - 01:46 PM) @Quantum: Rome 988 is actually a little smoother feeling and higher launch than DI-95 hybrid without feeling "loose" or being spinny. Rome 888 is going to launch lower and spin less than Speeder 757.

Stenson has given Piretti some tremendous exposure lately.

They're a Houston, Texas area company, but I've never tried one.

They feature 2.5* loft and 365 or 375gram heads.

Piretti made 150 copies of the Stenson Cottonwood putter version (slightly less toe hang, longer neck) and they sold out at $650 bucks a pop! They had a bunch of them when I called and with his recent success, sold all of them fast!

I putted with one at an AM tour event two weekends ago. I also putted with a SeeMore and a Bettinardi Studio. I am in the market for a new, good putter and liked the Piretti Cottonwood II, and the SeeMore the best. The Seemore M5 had a Super Stroke slim 2.0 on it and felt unbelievable. I don't like the look too much, but man I was rolling in ten footer with it like crazy. I only had ten minutes or so. The owner was warming up on the range so I checked them out then.

Going to order one tomorrow. Seemore Z3c or a Cottonwood II. My Taylor Spider is headed to the retirement bag!

Only 2.5* of loft on these putters, but I suspect the heavier head weight producing higher effective loft at impacxt.

Same with SeeMore Putters - 2.5! The Piretti I tested was stunning in appearance. Hard to get nuts over missing a short one looking at that thing.

You can find the Cottonwood for a lot less then 650.00 right here. http://www.fairwaygo...CFYii4AodlHcACQ and that was a real quick search, so I'm sure they are available, maybe not the limited Stenson model but a Cottonwood2.

I spoke to the Piretti owner, Mike Johnson, about his putters and possible customization.

He was very helpful, if a little busy, following Stenson's win.

He seems to have a stock of the various models, and volunteered to select a putter from stock with a little extra loft and offset for me.

I ordered a 365gram Fonza mallet model as a gift for a family member.

Was it the Forza mallet?

http://www.pirettigo...midnight-black/

Would that family member know if you putt with it a few times and give us some feedback?

Here's what I just ordered.

http://www.seemore.c...oke-diamond-cs/

Pseudo mallet looking job. I like the straight shaft. Mucho coin however. If it makes a few putts, I'll be set!

Sure enough, the Forza.

The putter is going to a pro and I'll have feedback to post.

The putter hasn't yet arrived.

The Piretti Fonza, while a nicely constructed and balanced putter, has a hard feel at impact with PRO V1X golf balls, compared to putters with inserts - like the Odyssey White Ice #9, for instance.

This example has 1/2 shaft offset and weighs 365 grams.

If you like that firm feel, its a good choice.

Good feedback! I received my SeeMore and it has the hard feel to it also. I'm on the fence again about using it. I've been using insert putters for too long and have grown use to the feel and feedback. I'm testing a Cameron Mallet now. Good grief!

I just recently received my Piretti putter. I can't speak highly enough about it. I've been in the business of collecting Cameron's for the last few years, but I've been looking for something of equal quality that I can get a little bit more of a personal touch with. Piretti has filled that void. I've spoken with Mike directly and he has been a pleasure to deal with. One thing that I have seemed to notice with it is that the flex of the shaft, yes I know it is a putter, feels very loose. I personally think that it gives it a great feel at impact. It puts a tremendous roll on the ball. I noticed the post about there only being 2.5* of loft, I think that is a factor of using a more flexible shaft and the heavy weight as already said above.
