Stenson has given Piretti some tremendous exposure lately.

They're a Houston, Texas area company, but I've never tried one.

They feature 2.5* loft and 365 or 375gram heads.

Piretti made 150 copies of the Stenson Cottonwood putter version (slightly less toe hang, longer neck) and they sold out at $650 bucks a pop! They had a bunch of them when I called and with his recent success, sold all of them fast!

I putted with one at an AM tour event two weekends ago. I also putted with a SeeMore and a Bettinardi Studio. I am in the market for a new, good putter and liked the Piretti Cottonwood II, and the SeeMore the best. The Seemore M5 had a Super Stroke slim 2.0 on it and felt unbelievable. I don't like the look too much, but man I was rolling in ten footer with it like crazy. I only had ten minutes or so. The owner was warming up on the range so I checked them out then.

Going to order one tomorrow. Seemore Z3c or a Cottonwood II. My Taylor Spider is headed to the retirement bag!

Only 2.5* of loft on these putters, but I suspect the heavier head weight producing higher effective loft at impacxt.

Same with SeeMore Putters - 2.5! The Piretti I tested was stunning in appearance. Hard to get nuts over missing a short one looking at that thing.

You can find the Cottonwood for a lot less then 650.00 right here. http://www.fairwaygo...CFYii4AodlHcACQ and that was a real quick search, so I'm sure they are available, maybe not the limited Stenson model but a Cottonwood2.

I spoke to the Piretti owner, Mike Johnson, about his putters and possible customization.

He was very helpful, if a little busy, following Stenson's win.

He seems to have a stock of the various models, and volunteered to select a putter from stock with a little extra loft and offset for me.

I ordered a 365gram Fonza mallet model as a gift for a family member.

Was it the Forza mallet?

http://www.pirettigo...midnight-black/

Would that family member know if you putt with it a few times and give us some feedback?

Here's what I just ordered.

Pseudo mallet looking job. I like the straight shaft. Mucho coin however. If it makes a few putts, I'll be set!

Sure enough, the Forza.

The putter is going to a pro and I'll have feedback to post.

The putter hasn't yet arrived.

The Piretti Fonza, while a nicely constructed and balanced putter, has a hard feel at impact with PRO V1X golf balls, compared to putters with inserts - like the Odyssey White Ice #9, for instance.

This example has 1/2 shaft offset and weighs 365 grams.

If you like that firm feel, its a good choice.

Good feedback! I received my SeeMore and it has the hard feel to it also. I'm on the fence again about using it. I've been using insert putters for too long and have grown use to the feel and feedback. I'm testing a Cameron Mallet now. Good grief!

I just recently received my Piretti putter. I can't speak highly enough about it. I've been in the business of collecting Cameron's for the last few years, but I've been looking for something of equal quality that I can get a little bit more of a personal touch with. Piretti has filled that void. I've spoken with Mike directly and he has been a pleasure to deal with. One thing that I have seemed to notice with it is that the flex of the shaft, yes I know it is a putter, feels very loose. I personally think that it gives it a great feel at impact. It puts a tremendous roll on the ball. I noticed the post about there only being 2.5* of loft, I think that is a factor of using a more flexible shaft and the heavy weight as already said above.
