Did you guys see JP is back and launched a new line with Titleist last week?  JP Wedges by Titleist.

This past March, I was asked to be a JP Ambassador, and traveled out to TPI in Oceanside for a comprehensive fitting.  My experience was detailed on their site:

http://blog.jpwedges...my-day-with-jp/

I just got the wedges in hand, and wanted to share them with you in the event you haven't seen them yet.

Here is their launch video which I thought was really nicely done:

I have one question, how does one become an ambassador?  I'd love to try his wedges but $2000.00 for wedges that I have to replace in 2 seasons, just doesn't fit my budget, but I can see where this is going as far as a new look into golf equipment for the well to do.  I like his efforts and don't have nothing but happiness for JP to make it in an industry that is very very hard to make it. That being said this is for that 1% PXG types who can afford to try and buy their game or just have that extra coin they can afford to toss around on the finer things in life. For me I'll have to stick to my 100-150 wedges. Unless of course JP wants to sign up a 53 year old who is an equipment junkie who plays between a 1 -6  handicap  on his  "B" Team.... :5:  :lol2:

PS: Seriously I'm happy for J.P. he's been doing this for sometime now and he's  earned a break with Titlesit giving him the freedom to run his wedge business as he likes and using all  his vision and ideas on how a wedge should look and play.

Congrats to J.P. and also to SPYZINGER. All of your social media talents have paid off for you as well. Doesn't hurt being the self proclaimed greatest looking man alive either!  :9:

Keep me in mind if you ever want to allow a fellow  :pimp: a try at those wedges...  please give us all a real update after you've had time to play these beauties.

Usually they pick a very loyal customer and/or someone who has a very strong influence in a certain community to be an ambassador.  From my experience, it works wonder!

Yarra , I've known our boy SpyZinger for many many years now and he like another who's on the blog of JP are well known in the social media golf circles. That and the back story of JP and Steven are explained in detail on the blog. So I can see why Steven was picked, and I'm sure he looks much better on film then I......  :lol4:

Congratulations to SpyZinger, a great choice for Brand Ambassador!

My son, a Minnesota PGA club pro, played one of the original JP 58* wedges for years and was disappointed that he couldn't get a Titleist version, even though he was on the Titleist pro staff. I'm sure he'll be excited to hear the news.

I think these wedges look awesome! Unfortunately, I wear the sh$& out of wedges so these would not be a good option for me.
