@  HossOnMoss : (22 July 2015 - 09:07 PM)

I believe that Mizuno is suppposed to be expanding their shaft options soon from what I heard. If not, we can always build them KBS Tour V or whatever shaft you would like here at BSG.

@  BingHogan : (22 July 2015 - 09:08 AM)

I would also like to know more about the Rome vs. the K. I know Mr. Quagmire has one in a G30 LS and would love to know how he's hitting it regarding height, etc. Thanks Again!!!

@  HossOnMoss : (21 July 2015 - 01:37 PM)

I'm going to get with my rep and see if I can get some in hand pics shortly! I'm looking forward to trying them out myself. The new MP-25 has me really excited!!!

@  HossOnMoss : (14 July 2015 - 09:43 AM)

Thanks guys!

@  KyCutter : (12 July 2015 - 06:46 PM)

Marcus that is awesome news…glad I decided to ck on BSG tonight!

@  Skip512 : (10 July 2015 - 10:16 PM)

Marcus, congratulations! I hit 27 in September. The Chapel Hill magic is still alive after all these years. Tar Heel born Tar Heel Bred!

haha

@  ResearchX : (05 July 2015 - 03:31 PM)

After Robert Streb's back nine at the Old White, who at Titleist makes a better putter these days, Scotty Cameron or Bob Vokey???

@  ResearchX : (09 June 2015 - 06:08 PM)

Congratulations Marcus & wife!!!

@  TWshoot67 : (05 June 2015 - 05:11 PM)

Sorry I missed all the excitement, Congrats Marcus! God Bless you all.

@  J13 : (03 June 2015 - 06:02 PM)

Marcus we just had our 3rd in October which finally was a girl. We are out manned in our house but it's a helluva good time. Congrats again man

@  rfdegen : (03 June 2015 - 09:25 AM)

I called my grandfather with the news of the birth of our second daughter and he said "That's OK. Girls make good fishing partners, too". In addition, I taught them to golf, so we get out once or twice a year when they're home visiting. All good.

@  HossOnMoss : (02 June 2015 - 01:25 PM)

I agree. I've loved every minute of it with my first daughter and another one is fine by me. :D

@  rfdegen : (02 June 2015 - 08:26 AM)

Congratulations, Marcus! We raised two girls. Being constantly surrounded by females and raising girls isn't as bad as some make it out to be.

@  HossOnMoss : (01 June 2015 - 08:43 PM)

Thanks! This one makes 2 girls for us now. So, I'm well out numbered by the women in our household now.

@  Bigskydog : (01 June 2015 - 06:05 PM)

Congrats Marcus! As a father of 3 girls, good luck!

@  Quantum : (01 May 2015 - 05:10 AM) I am playing matrix ozik 130 6.0 stiff and wanted to switch to aldila tour 115 stiff. I am hoping it plays similar except lighter in weight?
@  FRAKETRAIN448 : (30 April 2015 - 08:50 AM) Great day of testing at the Ely Callaway Center - dialed in the new XR LD Heads with XPHLEXXX & FUJI Prototype shafts. Great numbers for first time out this year.

@  HossOnMoss : (28 April 2015 - 07:30 PM) :7: I'll probably just stick to my day job (which doesn't suck either), but it's always fun to "get inside the ropes" on tour when I have the chance.
@  J13 : (28 April 2015 - 05:06 PM) Really happy for Mike. Seemed like a good guy and he now knows your the lucky charm. You might have a new job :)
@  HossOnMoss : (27 April 2015 - 04:25 PM) He kept the nerves in check pretty well all week, but we just had a couple of mental mistakes on the starting nine (back side) on sunday. Regardless of the scores (which I still can't comprehend), that course wasn't playing that easy last week. I fully expected a -2 cut line and never even considered -5 as possibility for the cut. (Insert cliche here) These guys are good!
@  Qwagmire : (26 April 2015 - 11:51 PM) :4: so glad he could right the ship after a shaky start on round 4. Nerves? I would have been shaking like a dog shitting peach seeds
@  HossOnMoss : (26 April 2015 - 07:48 PM) Thanks guys! We had an awesome week. It's not often that a monday qualifier actually makes the cut on the PGA Tour. So, a T-36 finish is pretty good all things considered. Hopefully just the start of more great things to come for a really nice and talented guy.
@  Qwagmire : (25 April 2015 - 09:41 PM) Keep it going Hoss!

@  J13 : (14 April 2015 - 10:49 AM) Speith is a stud and seems like an overall great ambassador for the game. I'm a fan
@  HossOnMoss : (13 April 2015 - 09:26 AM) It was a great week to watch. Speith was as impressive as ever and it was in my opinion equally impressive to see how much Tiger was able to turn his game around in time for Augusta. Pretty remarkable feats by both players. Should be a great summer of golf ahead of us!
@  HossOnMoss : (12 April 2015 - 08:53 PM) That was an awesome display of golf this week by Speith. I don't know how anyone could not like watching that guy play golf.
@  BingHogan : (11 April 2015 - 11:34 PM) I think he'll continue to mow em' down at Augusta. Seems like his destiny. Anyone who goes to a Jesuit High School is OK in my book!

@  TWshoot67 : (01 April 2015 - 10:26 AM) I agree I can't see him missing the Masters.....
@  HossOnMoss : (01 April 2015 - 10:26 AM) I'll be absolutely shocked if he doesn't play the Masters. I never had a doubt that he would return for Augusta. So, I'll be REALLY surprised if he doesn't play.

@  HossOnMoss : (15 February 2015 - 05:10 PM) Bing, those are Dynamic Gold S200 .355 taper iron shafts.
@  BingHogan : (15 February 2015 - 04:07 PM) Anyone have an idea what shafts these are: DGISL200? Just found these in the garage and remember buying them about 10+ years ago. Thanks!
@  Laars : (04 February 2015 - 10:09 AM) Carroll was tricked into doing what he did. Pats don't call a time out, putting it all on Hawks either scoring or losing. Now you have no time, only 30 seconds. If Carroll does a running play first, and doesn't get in, he then MUST throw twice in order to win because he has no time left. Giving the advantage to NE. Go with the pass play first, then run twice. He picked the smarter plays, but in reality, he should give Lynch a shot, and if he doesn't get in, you lose. He looked at having 3 chances better then one. Belichick counted on Carroll doing that, going with 3 chances instead of one chance with Lynch, which on paper, 3 chances looks like the smart play. Carroll got out coached.
@  TWshoot67 : (03 February 2015 - 05:55 PM) J13 I feel pretty much the same. even two days later and I can't figure out why passing even entered anyones mind after the result of the previous play running the ball???????? :spank: :WTF: :nono:
@  J13 : (02 February 2015 - 07:57 PM) Carrolls call at the end makes me want to stick a nail gun against my temple and unload a clip. What a moron
@  Qwagmire : (02 February 2015 - 04:01 PM) Pats-Hawks, Texas-USC, more NCAA violations than any coach in history? Carroll has reaped what he sowed
@  HossOnMoss : (02 February 2015 - 09:51 AM) That was pretty hard to watch. Not a fan for either team, but it's painful to think that Carroll will be living with that choice for the rest of his life.
@  TWshoot67 : (01 February 2015 - 09:44 PM) now the biggest cheating nfl coach will go down in history as the best post seaon coach ever,,, blahh

I have become very accustomed to the ball flight of Flighted Rifle 6.5s. With many new irons offering the KBS Tour stock or with little or no upcharge, I would try them out if anyone can tell me what to expect. Flight? Feel? Control? Distance?

Thanks

Depending on which KBS shaft you use the ball flight will be generally more piercing than the flighted Rifle's. They in my opinion are much better that the flighted. The Project x which are sometimes too high for other players aren't nearly as high as the flighted version. The KBS tours are very good shafts regardless of the flex. Not as harsh as the project x, if you can call it that, but definitely a good shaft that penetrates and is accurate.

I have to disagree with this post because it definately doesn't launch like dg's. KBS launches a tad higher than the PX. I do agree that KBS is smoother in feel and not as harsh feeling like the PX.

I agree. My PX flighted launch lower and are not as smooth feeling as the KBS tours. The apex seems to be about the same for both.

I had a set of Hogan FTX with 6.5 flighted rifles. I changed to Mizuno MP 62 with KBS Tours. The KBS spec. at 7.1 you have to play these shafts a little stiffer that most other shafts. So far I would stay that they launch higher and spin more that my Hogans. They also have a more draw tendancy than my Hogans did. I will agree that they are very consistant.

I tried the KBS and found they launch higher and spun more than my PX. I also dont like the feel since the balance point is higher up resulting in a lighter swing weight. I am sure KBS are good for some, but for me they just dont work and also had a tendency to miss left more than other shafts.

I've had similar results to many of you guys, higher launch and spin than my old rifles (though it was PX, not flighted)....Still not sure about KBT, it's nice in the longer irons but sometimes I feel like I could keep the ball down better with Project X
