Just received this head in as well to test out along with the new Burner Superfast tour head. How good does this head look? Can you say r510 DF + MWT + FCT!!!! Posted Image

Notice the inscription "BBLB" on the back....not sure what it means at this point to be honest, but I'm going to go with BIG, BAD, LONG, & BLACK! Posted Image

The BBLB stands for BIG BUT LONG BALL. There was an article on golftoimpress that discussed this. Taylor Made Japan apparently confirmed it.

I was really happy with my R9 TOUR, but with this TOUR Superdeep and the TOUR Burner Superfast...the club ho in me is coming out. Really want to try out the Superfast.

Great to look at, but probably less then optimal for most of us. Plus 1 friend of mine, big dude, 112mph ss was hitting the 10.5 Rip x and struggled to keep it in the air.

Swing speed is not really relevant, but you are correct that it's a VERY low spin head for high spin players. Most good players would be much better off with the SuperTri Tour or SuperFast Tour. The SuperDeep is for high spin players.

Cannot wait for this!! Even when I'm striping it I spin the ball like nobodies business if this plays anything like the R510 in my bag then the 510 is going to be a back up bag warmer! :banana1:

I'm with you Maddsurf. I played yesterday and hit every shot solid on the screws with the driver, and I still feel like it isn't going as far as its supposed to. Flight looks too high and spinny!

I'm gaming the R9 460 8.5 with X Flex Project X 7A3. I still spin that thing.

Yeah my R510 TP has a Fuji Zcom TW74 in it, I had a 07 Burner with a Ozik Candy Gold F7M2 LTd and that was the best combo I had for low spin, But the Superdeep I think may be the driver to end all spin and get me in that optimal 2 to 2500 range!

Thing is CRAZY deep. SuperTri would be a better fit for me - my only concern with this driver is a lot of people playing it simply based on looks when it might not be the optimal setup for them. TaylorMade did do a great job with the LOOK. She looks great...

You guys should get some launch data, or at least communicate with me about what your current setup is doing so we can get you fit. SuperDeep might be JUST what you are looking for. :)

Has the Superdeep made its debut on Tour yet? I would have guessed that it would have been in some bags at Innisbrook, with more to come at Bay Hill, to give players some time with it so that there would be some "presence" with the club at Augusta.

I am currently using SuperTri 9.5 with RIP X stiff. My normal launch angle is 14.5~16 degree spin rate is 2500~3200. Do you think I need to go 9.5 or 10.5?

Not that too many people have hit the driver and even less the tour version but I cant wait to see the spin comparisons to the 282 or the Adams 4250 DF.

I'm hitting my new FT-5 TH 290 or so with a huge 'powercut' swing. It goes into orbit 2X and loses distance in re-orbit. I really, really need something like this for my swing. I really hope I can get one to test out.
