DougnDallas captured a couple of pics of these irons this week in Andres Gonzales' bag. They have been out on tour for a little while now and should be the next Adams muscleback release. Very similar look to the prototype set that Adams made a while back for Bernhard Langer.

Here is a pic of Langer's irons from last year for comparison. Little different weighting in the muscle of the flange, but beveling along the topline is very similar on both sets of protos like the old Apex blades that Langer used to play.

Saw these last week at the Washington Open. I grew up playing against Andres in high school, cross town rival high schools. They were amazing looking! Never even thought of snapping some photos.

Hope AG plays well this week!

P.s. I have not been on here too much lately. That will change!

These are very good looking irons. I have seen them in Raw,Satin, and black finishes. The black finish is the one that will be going to market. You can't see it on these pics, but they have six or seven tungsten plugs on the back of the club down towards the sole.

Correct, you can actually see the tungsten plugs pretty well in the iron at the top of the last picture in my first post. The various finishes will be a pretty cool option. Posted Image

Not a ton of guys have played the standard Pro Black MB since they have so few staffers and those guys have mostly been using A Tour, Idea Pro, Pro Gold, or A4. Then you have guys like Baddely and Langer that have their own special MB versions. The only guys who come to mind that have played the Pro Black MB on tour is Omar Uresti on the PGA Tour and James Hahn on the Nationwide Tour although I am sure that there have been a few others at times at least.

Watson was trying out some CB1's I believe a while back, but he has been using a set of satin CC1 or A12's for most of this year and currently has those in the bag. He has been changing irons constantly it seems since last year when the groove rule made him switch from A Tour. He did play Pro Gold for a while which is basically a dead ringer for A Tour and does conform in some sets of tour heads at least. So, I'm surprised that he didn't just stick with those.

I'm more surprised that Adams doesn't just make him some legal groove A Tours.

I was told RAW was coming to the market but who knows, here is my set on the way, I'll get some better pics this week when they get here but it is easy to see the plugs here........and maybe a new driver prototype mold in the background :P ;)
