My name is Nick Del Pozo I a the founder of Fore Kids Golf Academy(4KidsGolf.com). My academy is based out of Pasadena, CA at Brookside Golf Club(The golf course right next to the world famous Rose Bowl)

Within this past summer I have taught 400 kids through our summer golf camp. I decide to shoot a few video's just to show what I teach kids and how I teach them.

I am looking for any advice or comments or ideas on what I could do better or how I can teach kids more of the essential fundamentals that creates a Junior Golfer into a person who would or has the desire to take this game into high school college and the on tour.

My company's mission statement is "Introducing the game of golf "FORE" a lifetime.

Here is a popular video I have on YouTube:

The Korean schools, which have produced so many LPGA players, teach the basics and physics of golf for weeks before students ever hit a golf ball.

There's are 2 interesting books, "The Talent Code" by Daniel Coyle, and "Talent Is Overrated" by Geoff Colvin, which discuss this in some detail.

I believe the 1st has more detail.

A big believer in this is Geoff Jones aka Slicefixer.

He has been interviewed on web blogs discussing it.

Teaching kids correct sequencing encouraged by exercises to teach positions is a good idea IMO.

See Paul Kopp, the "Sequence Coach".

Or...send them to Jimmy Ballard...the guru of connection and correct positions in the golf swing.

Mr Ballard has taught a number of major champions.

Jimmy Ballard holds a number of 1 day "summer clinics", in Chicago, Atlanta, and Columbus, Ohio.

This is the best opportunity to get personal instruction from a famous instructor, without having to travel all the way to Florida.
