I just wanted to share my experience in my search for the absolute best driver for me. This has been a process for me for 8 months now. I have tried so many models that it is difficult to remember them all. I have also hit many of Japans best driver heads and shafts as well. It has been an expensive journey even though I have purchased used equipment most of the time. Here is the List:
Japan drivers - Crazy 460, Kamui 456, Yonex Ezone, Yonex 430 and the famous Ryoma V-spec. Japan shafts were Quadra Fire express, crazy CB46, Bangvoo Premium. This line of gear is stupid expensive so this was the costly part of my journey. I also took most of these to a launch monitor to check all info. the best of this list was the Crazy 460 with a Miyazaki Indigo shaft. Backspin was 3200 with a 12* launch angle. best drives were 285 and average about 269. For anyone who may doubt Japan equipment, it is the best feeling gear that I have tried. I was set to go back to the Crazy 460 until I tried the Taylormade RBZ tour.

USA Drivers - Any new model out I have hit on the launch monitor and out doors. I liked the Adams Fast LS and the Razr Fit. The G20 was also very solid but just did not give me the big bombs on pure hits. The R11 is a solid club for me but again it does not give me the distance I need. most shaft offerings were stock so I realize there may be a few jems in there with a quality shaft. I did not care for the RBZ with the stock shaft at all. I ourchased a Tour Spec Motore speeder on a whim and thought I would give it a go in the RBZ. Wow from the moment I hit it on the range I knew I was on to something. After gaming it for a couple of weeks I went to a launch monitor to check the numbers for the first time. I must say that I hit the Razr fit,Adams LS, I20 the same day to have a comparison of numbers. The Adams had the best numbers for me but the spin was still too high with a good Fubuki shaft in it. 3200 backspin but 11.8 launch. Distance was 261 total. When i hit my combo on the monitor it was unreal. Spin was 2450 with a 12* launch with 280 distance. The store rep looked at me and said "I can't help you, you have the club you need. The Mizuno rep was there and followed me to the front to see what shaft was in my driver. No one there knew what this shaft was. I explained that I purchased it on line and that Phil mickelson and hunter Mayhan had gamed this shaft recently. I am glad this journey is over. This club is not the best feeling by a long shot but it gives me the exact performance that I need. I agree with others that it is too loud but I can live with all of this for performance. I truly believe that I may get similar numbers with this shaft in another head but I believe that you have to stop and be happy at some point. I am there.

I am 102 to 108 max. 104 seems to be my average according to launch results. a good drive for me is 275 to 285. Like most I will hit a 290 to 300 sometimes but not very often. My misses are 250 to 260.

What flex and weight is your Fuji? I'm looking at the exact same combo and have pretty similar numbers. My swing speed is between 108 and 112.

Hey texsport. I finally got a Fubuki K in to test. However it is not apples to apples. I wanted to try a lighter shaft so I went with the 56 gram in stiff. First off the Fubuki is smoother, just feels better than the motore. However the lighter weight does not work for me. The launch is too high and as a result the motore is longer in both carry and roll. It was worth a try but I hope to sale this one and try a 67 gram version to see if it can hang with the motore with better feel. Shame as it is a nice looking shaft in this head.

Fuji VC 6.2 and 7.2 are supposed to be really really low spin. Didn't Phil play the 7.2 at Pebble Beach earlier this year? It was one of the best rounds that Phil played with driver funny he no longer plays this shaft though.

Yes he did. I think he gamed the Motore TS for 2 tourneys then went back to Fubuki and or Diamana. I now have this shaft in an Adams Tour issue head and it is pretty solid. I still want to try a ad BB or a heavier Fubuki K
