KBS 90 plays a little softer than KBS Tour. So, the launch and spin will be higher with the lighter weight shafts.

What about the KBS Hybrid shafts...did not see them listed here, and was curious as to availablity. Was thinking about one of the Adams hybrid heads with this shaft.

Thanks in advance.

Those are not available any longer. I have a few individual satin PX wedge shafts left, but not sets.

I don't have pricing for the C Tapers as of yet, but I should know very shortly.

If I wanted to test out the c-taper VS. my x100. What club should I do it in and what should be the effect of the c-taper VS. that x100?

You can try it any club, but most would go with a 6 iron or something in the middle of the set. You should notice a smoother feel and flatter overall trajectory with the C-Taper.

Is it true that you go 1 flex softer with the C-Taper?

This is a two part answer.

(1)In the original KBS Tour shafts, X was 6.5. In the C-Taper S+ is 6.5.(X is 7.0)

(2)The C-Taper feels stiffer because of the stiffer tip, but 6.5 plays the same in both shafts, the C-taper just producing a lower trajectory.

Additionally, the sound and feels are somewhat different. The C-taper is more muted in feel(not as big a kick)and in the sound which is different at impact IMO.

How does the C-taper S feel in comparison to the project x 6.0/6.5. I know the c-taper is about a 6.3 in stiff so I'm wondering if when I compare the shafts if it would be better to compare the c-taper to the project x 6.0 or 6.5. Also does anyone know how the c-taper would compare to the PXi's?

KBS C-taper has a smoother feel than Project X according to nearly everyone.

As far as stiffness, the C-taper shafts are slightly firmer feeling than the original KBS Tour, but very stable.

Jim Furyk has been playing a C-taper R+ flex in his irons.

Ive played a 6.0 C-taper, slightly over length for a year now. I carry my 5-iron 195-200 yds.
